Weatherization Crew Leader

KCEOC is seeking a qualified individual to fill the Weatherization Crew Leader position in the Kentucky counties of Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Harlan, Hart, Logan, Metcalfe, Monroe, Simpson, and Warren.  High School diploma or GED and two years work experience in construction or similar field required; Or, a contractor, electrical license, and/or heat and A/C certification and two years work experience required; two years supervisory experience required; willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. The WX Crew Leader Oversee Weatherization Crew Members, and Technicians. WX Crew Leader is responsible for doing energy efficiency work on low income client’s homes. Provide technical assistance and direction to all crew members and technician. Efficiently complete scheduled Weatherization jobs; includes but is not limited to, installing insulation, window and door air sealing, weather stripping, light bulb changes, placing smoke detectors, caulking, replacing windows and doors, conducting skilled labor (as permissible per certifications) such as installing hot water heaters, working on or replacing furnace or cooling systems, and associated work including electrical, pipe and duct work.
