KCEOC is seeking a qualified individual to fill one full-time position for Services Coordinator. The Services Coordinator is responsible for various roles including coordination of services for elderly individuals living in KCEOC’s Section 202 rental housing properties. Secondary roles are assisting the Community Services Director with tasks related to civic engagement, community involvement included but not limited to customer service. The individual must make every effort to familiarize their self and learn fundamental, routine and imminent dynamics of program design and function. The services provided by the coordinator must meet the standards set forth by KCEOC and the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.
A Bachelors Degree in Sociology, Social Work or Psychology or related field and two years work experience in human services is required. Thirty six hours of training must be obtained within one year after hire. Additional training requirements are to acquire a Professional Service Coordinator Designation and to become a HUD Certified Housing Counselor and have a valid Kentucky driver’s license. The individual must have adequate computer skills, knowledge of community needs and programming; willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
