KCEOC Community Action Partnership, Inc. would like to thank Mission of Hope for their generous donation to the KCEOC Emergency Support Shelter located in Gray, KY.
Since 1996, the Mission of Hope has ministered to the people of various counties in Kentucky and Tennessee from which 80% of the region’s residents no longer have jobs in the coal mining industry. In our first event in 1996 we were able to assist 150 children. Last year because of the generosity of so many people, the Mission of Hope was able to help over 17,000 children and their families with food, clothes, toys and hygiene items.
Mission of hope comes quarterly to donate to our Emergency Support Center. This quarter, on June 3, 2020, they donated over $3,000 worth of goods. That included a truck full of new bikes for the children, multiple pallets of assorted foods, hygiene kits, household wares, diapers, laundry detergent, and used furniture.
This is a cautious and tough time to complete a mission. Mission of Hope is practicing all the needed procedures to effectively complete their job. They are maintaining social distancing, wearing masks, etc while they deliver the donated items.
We are thankful for the generosity and support of Mission of Hope and appreciate them for donating to KCEOC and the Emergency Support Center.
