KCEOC is seeking a qualified individual to fill one full-time position for Financial Services Manager. The Financial Services Manager will be providing direct financial counseling for both one-one-one sessions as well as workshops aimed at helping individuals and families gain or regain their financial stability. They are responsible for various roles including client intake service, training/assessments, and monitoring client services and goal attainment. They must ensure program compliance through file checks and internal and external quality assurance and control, preparing for monitoring visits and working with program monitors. Working with other KCEOC programs through internal referrals for services; assist each client in receiving services and to evaluate those experiences as they relate to their goals. Document client files with descriptive case notes and enter into multiple agency databases.
The individual will also be responsible for developing the agency as a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). The individual must make every effort to familiarize their self and learn fundamental, routine and imminent dynamics of program design and function.
A Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business or related field and two years work experience in client financial counseling is required. Experience with budgeting, banking, credit report analysis, loan processing is necessary. The individual must have adequate computer skills, knowledge of community needs and programming; willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Willingness to travel.
